Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Ostativar collects, how we use it, and what choices you have when you use the platform.
Last updated: April 25, 2026
1. Who we are
Ostativar operates ostativar.ge, a Georgian service marketplace that connects customers with independent masters. In this policy, "Ostativar", "we", and "us" refer to the team responsible for operating the platform.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you sign in, create or update a customer or master profile, post an order, respond to an order, upload photos, leave reviews, or contact support. This may include your name, email address, phone number, city, profile description, service details, order details, budget, preferred dates, photos, reviews, and messages or support requests.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, show customer and master profiles, publish and manage orders, help users communicate about services, prevent abuse, improve platform quality, respond to support requests, send operational messages, measure performance, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Sign-in and verification
Ostativar uses Supabase Auth for phone OTP, Google OAuth, and Facebook OAuth sign-in. We store the account identifiers and contact details needed to link your Supabase auth account with your Ostativar user, customer, and master profiles. Phone numbers are normalized before use, and OAuth email addresses are used to create or link accounts.
5. What other users can see
Some information is visible to other users so the marketplace can work. Public master listings and profile pages may show a master's name, city, services, description, rating, reviews, and work photos. Order pages may show task details, location, budget, photos, status, and information needed for customers and masters to evaluate or manage the work.
6. Service providers and storage
We use trusted service providers to operate the platform, including Supabase for authentication, database hosting, and file storage, Vercel for hosting and performance tooling, and other infrastructure or analytics tools needed to run the service. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
7. Your choices and rights
You can update much of your profile information in the platform. You may also ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information, subject to account security, fraud prevention, legal retention, and marketplace record-keeping needs. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
8. Children
Ostativar is intended for people who can lawfully enter into service arrangements. The platform is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy as Ostativar changes. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the platform or another appropriate method. The updated date shows when the latest version took effect.
